Legal Basis for Processing

Our lawful basis for processing personal data include:

Marketing

By providing RegioX with your contact information on our website, in person or via social media channels, you give permission to be contacted by RegioX regarding promotions, sales, app maintenance and other updates. You reserve the right to unsubscribe or retract your contact information at any time. 

Data Transfers outside the EEA

Occasionally we will transfer Personal Data to recipients in Third Party countries that are outside of the EEA or are not currently recognised by EU law as having an adequate level of legal protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects. We will only do so if the following applies:
a) The Processor is certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
b) The existence of any other specifically approved safeguard for data transfers (as recognised under EU Data Protection Laws) and/or a European Commission finding of adequacy can be demonstrated.

In the event that data is transferred between RegioX AS and an International company, a Joint Controller Agreement will be in place that will clarify the responsibilities of both companies in relation to any personal data that is exchanged or transferred.

Your rights

You have the following rights:

  • The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data. This Privacy Policy should tell you everything you need to know, but you can always contact us to find out more or to ask any questions using the email address below.
  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to have your personal data rectified if any of your personal data held by us is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to be forgotten, i.e., the right to ask us to delete or otherwise dispose of any of your personal data that we hold.

  • The right to data portability.   • Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. We do not use your personal data in this way.

Data Retention

You may request that your Personal Data be anonymised in the following circumstances:

  • Where the Personal Data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected/processed.
  • When you withdraw consent, if consent is being used as the Legal Basis for Processing.
  • If you object to the Processing and there is no overriding Legitimate Interest or Legal Obligation to continue the Processing.
  • The Personal Data was unlawfully processed.
  • The Personal Data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation

We will only retain data for the necessary time to complete the task that the data was collected for, or to meet our legal obligations.

Data Deletion

You may request your Personal Data to be deleted with the following steps:

  • Send an email requesting your data to be delete to admin@regiox.no
  • The email should contain the username/email of the data you wish to be deleted
  • All data directly linked to this account will be deleted within 60 days of receiving the request
  • You have until that time to cancel the request
  • After the 60 days recovery of any data is impossible

How can you access information we hold about you?

If you want to know what personal data that we have about you, you can ask us for details of that personal data and for a copy of it (where any such personal data is held). This is known as a “subject access request”.
All subject access requests should be made in writing and sent to the email address shown.
There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is deemed to be ‘unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover our administrative costs in responding.
We will respond to your subject access request within and, in any case, not more than one month of receiving it. Please note that in some cases, particularly if your request is complex, more time may be required up to a maximum of three months from the date we receive your request. You will be kept fully informed of our progress.

Subject Access Request (SAR)

You are entitled to a file a Subject Access Request (SAR) to obtain a copy of the personal information which we hold about you. If you wish to receive a copy of this information, please contact your account manager or Data Protection Officer zander@regiox.no directly and allow up to thirty calendar days for the information to be collated and provided to you, your identity will need to be confirmed.
Changes to our Privacy Notice.
We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal data protection.
Any changes will be immediately posted on this website and you will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the Privacy Policy on your first use of this website following the alterations.
